From Shanghai to Brisbane

19.9.19 - Time to say goodbye

We go on a last walk in the area:

Goodbye China!

At Pudong International Airport Shanghai:

we have never been so fast from the entrance to the airport to the gates!

The only delayed flight departure is .... of course Qantas!

After 10,5 hours flight we arrive at Sydney ....

No space for our plane at a "finger"

and also the 4th Qantas flight is delayed!

but we don't have to wait 9 hours like on the way to China!

So, we are back home!

Shanghai: The Maglev train, Museum, Xintiandi and Ninjing Malls, Jin Mao Tower, markets

18.9.19 from 9am to 7 pm by bus

First stop: The fastest bullet train in China!

and after 7 minutes , we are at the Airport!

Then through the city of Shanghai ....

.... to the Shanghai Museum

Never knew that there were so strange coins!

Third stop: Xintiandi Mall for Lunch

very funny! Oktoberfest!

We don't know Wolfgang Puck,

but the name sounds very German!

waiting for the overdue fellow passengers:

Fourth stop is at Ninjing Mall

another little Tuktuk train,

we decide: we walk down the 1.5 kms mall,

then take the Tuktuk back.

and now a spot in a rickshaw

Next stop: the Jin Mao Tower

88 floors, but there are much higher buildings in the meantime!

Next stop: markets for dinner

the last evening together:

a nice coffee after our Chinese meal

Back at the hotel at 7pm!
