We marked the way on our map ... 2 hours gone

the 200+ marks Beijing

10.35 am at Tai'an

11.18 am at Zaozhuang

12.21 pm at Dingyuan

12.54 pm at Nanjing South

13.22 pm at Danyang North

We arrived exactly 13.47 pm at Wuxi East Station

We are taking off for a walk towards the City.

Wuxi is known as the Land of Fish and Rice.

It is much warmer in Wuxi than in Beijing -

so an ice cream is what we need after 2,5 kms walk!

Wuxi is known as Venice of China -

a lot of boats are getting ready for the night rides.

We have our dinner at Blue Merlin at one of the many Canals 

The lights are going on

After dinner another walk through the area -

the famous Nanchang Street

A lot of food is prepared in front of the shops.

Here are huge crowds !

and thousands of electric scooters -

driving criss cross and using their horns all the time.

Couple persons are busy repairing a scooter -

including use of a welder, powered by a generator.

and we arrive back at our hotel.

once Uwe added joghurt into our coffee instead of milk 

and on the way to the 3rd largest lake in China

Arriving at Taihu Lake

We are taking this TukTuk for a 45 minutes ride -

because time again is limited here in the park.

We stop here to get out for some photos

also a popular wedding area

We have to leave .... because ....

it's time for the Fresh water pearls !

and after promotional announcements off to shopping!
