Motorradtour No. 3: Northern Rivers/NSW

Left home at 8am for the trip at cool 20.  By the time we got to Somerset Dam it was 24 and rising = beautiful riding weather, great company and some wonderful views.

 

Morning tea at Fernvale (Cafeteria) then off to Boonah then up the range.

The ride from there was up to Stanthorpe then to Texas temperatures by then 34. Lovely meal and accommodation at Stockman Hotel.

 

 

Tag 2 

After taking off from Texas on one wheel we've arrived at Ashford for morning tea after dodging cockatoos and kangaroos and getting slammed with bugs

 

 

We arrived at Armidale, Top Tourist Park - unser kleines Haus:

Tag 3

 Ooooooh what a beautiful morning, ooooh what a beautiful day!

..... liar liar, we left Armidale at 11degrees!

Brrrr 100 meters down the road we all put the wets on to keep out the chill.

 

Morning tea in Ebor:

 

Off we go to Bellingen through the clouds which were wet and cold.... Just singing in the rain!, what a night mare, missed the best part of the ride as we could not see the beautiful views or ride the twisties.

at Crown Hotel in Grafton.

Still a great day: we arrived safely!

left Grafton at 7.30 this morning headed off to Casino, had to get into the wets again, morning tea in the park

It stopped raining ....

so we arrived without trouble at

Kunst in der Natur

Auf zur Testfahrt ins Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Wir pruefen, ob noch alles am Wohnwagen funktioniert.

 

Also bergauf kommt das Gespann noch:

Der kleine Wuergebaum an der Spitze ist wirklich kaum zu erkennen.

 

 Wir laufen auch zu den Artist Cascades:

 

 

 ein kleiner Wasserfall und Kaskaden ....

 ich gestehe: mir zu kalt zum Baden



 

 Lunch haben wir hier am Booloumba Creek

 der allerdings ziemlich gruen ist.

 Und wir fahren zum Peters Creek hinauf:

 Hier hat man die Schaeden vom Vorjahr beseitigt.

 

Und ja, diese Gegend ist so schoen,

da werden wir noch des oefteren hinkommen.
