It's a dogfriendly event!Kids love baking their bread on sticksour Lennard as wellUwe prefers the ready-to-eat versionthe later the night, the closer we get to the fireAfter 6 years we really enjoyed our Easter Fire with family members!

It's spring time in Germany (remarks: not really: it's far too cold - only 5 degrees), but the frontgardens are readythe trees are blooming in pink colour

There are Easter decorations in shopping centres like here:

One tradition is the Easter march on Easter Saturday - for freedom in the world

Another tradition: the Easter fire on Saturday night: to get away the bad ghosts and daemons
- here the Fire brigade is working to get a big pile of wood, trees, etc ready for this big event

In case of emergency: at least one Fire truck will be available

The fire will be lit at dawn ... so we have still some time to get ready for Easter!
